I hear foul language everyday at work and occasional slips from neighbors. I prefer not to hear it on purpose. So I appreciate when someone makes clear that it is present in their video. I like to show my kids some of the videos, too.

A heads up about it, is kind of like a movie rating. Then it is up to me to be ready for it.

Military, cop shops are not the best place for helping your language skills. I can turn it on and off pretty well however. In the video you see I hit the barn and did not let one slip. I really try to keep it under control.....but when fighting to put on that &^%$#*& deck well I did not record that for a reason :)

I tried to mow again with it last night....man it was bumpy again. This time for grins I left everything on the machine.....EVERYTHING, loader and backhoe. It did seem to ride much nicer, but you are not going to get very close to anything.

Update, not many updates here lately lots going on. But this is the first video (I think) with the new camera. If you are interested it is a Panasonic HX-a100, it is along the lines of a gopro or contour, but a little different. So far I am liking the camera quite a bit.

Tractor now has a tick over 112 hours and still going strong, still doing the same old stuff, digging trees, and moving dirt, this video has some work don't at my new pistol range....still a long way to go.

My FIL wants to come out this weekend and dig up some trees so I will try to take some video of that.

I have also used it to mow again. It sure does cut nice but it just does not ride the bumps like the big green JD does. Short wheel base I guess. This video has the deck on, but it will be coming off shortly.

Nice video. Please show us how it turns out. Is that camera mounted on your head somehow? Also, couldn't tell, but do you have a toothbar on the FEL? Nice black dirt you have there too. We have the same here for the first 6"-10" but it seems my builder must have removed it from all my lawn areas. If I dig down 3" or so, it's all sandy rock. Pee's me off that all that nice soil went somewhere else.

Yes there is a thing that goes around your head that the camera mounts to....it is very small and pretty light, you actually forget it is there. One of the reason I went with the Panasonic, I did not want the brick of a gopro hanging off the top of my head....this I wear my normal hat and it records where I look....nice setup.

As to the tooth bar yes, I have the PTB on the tractor and it really turns it into a digging machine.

The dirt is like that all the way down....as far as I can dig....it is really very good dirt with zero rocks. There are pockets of very hard clay, but after that it is great to dig in.

Perhaps a link to your new camera?

That is it, I have not found much in the way of reviews on it so I will give you my two bits. I currently have a 32gb micro SD card in mine and have not filled it up yet. File sizes seem to be limited to 2gb (not sure if there is a setting) but the video will start a new file with no stoppage or user intervention that I can find. It is pretty small and the camera lens is very light. The head mount is good if you wear a hat, but can be a little fiddley to get right if you wear glasses.

You HAVE to have a smart phone or tablet to control this camera, they have a 500 with a screen but it adds weight and shortens battery life. But the only way you can control settings on the camera is with an app on your phone or tablet. I am not a big smart phone user by a very long reach....in fact I hate the things, but it does work well. I have strapped it to quite a few things so far, my rail buggy, my quad copter, a few different RC airplanes (oh god I made a drone....OBAMA WILL BE AFTER ME NOW) :) .....I still want to put it on my dog, just have to figure out a way to do it.....get the puppy eye view.

I don't have the rail buggy videos up on the tube yet but there are a few others.

Here is one taken from the quad....actually the first one I ever took from the quadcopter.

I would be more then happy to get you started down the road....as a ball park plan on spending around $400 give or take......If that does not scare you off drop me a pm and I will give you all the help I can. I have been flying planes for over 30 years now so I think I am an ok pilot.

They are great fun and have real uses....a week ago I flew over my neighbors house so we could look at the film to see if he had to get out and up on the roof to clean gutters....you could see in them perfect.

Many uses for the things.....but with new changes with the FAA and all you have to take care.

Look forward to talking to you.

There those days which are great and then there are those days that are well...........not so great.

I found these and while they're not mine they are a sanity check at what "can" happen.

Fortunately, the operator was more shaken up than anything, according to the article, and should recover.....I hope the tractor fairs as well....
