MF 451 battery circuit light on, won't turn over

My MF was leaking fuel, found a mice nest. Fixed the chewed return lines and one fuel line from tank. Also spliced two 18ga wires. One of the wires was battery charge indicator light. Buttoned everything back up, started tractor and noticed battery charge indicator light was on. Tilled a few acres and everything was fine. Shut down tractor. Next day I tried to move tractor and it will not turn over.

I have 12v at starter and alternator from battery, plus 12v in/out of K1 relay, PTO safety switch and Neutral safety switch. I also have 12v at solenoid excitor when key is in start/crank position. I'm assuming starter or solenoid just failed, but found it weird that it was so sudden. Tied tapping the starter and solenoid with no success. One bolt looks like an SOB to remove so I thought I would post before trying to remove it. Any way to test starter or solenoid on the tractor or any other ideas on the issue?

Battery light staying "ON" indicates its not charging. May be more wires needing repair.
Have you tried to jump start it?

No to jump start. Did put on battery charger initially, but it showed 90% charge so I took it off. I think you have more wires needing repair right. Tested starter off tractor and it engaged fine. Rechecked wire from ignition switch to solenoid and it has zero volts. So does PTO safety switch, plus fuel pump stopped working when key is in "on" position. So basically going backwards at this point. I can still here K- relay click when key in start position so it has electricity going there.
