We installed AirLift bags on our Honda Odyssey minivan to preserve ride height when loaded.

I installed the two fittings under the fuel filler door. Since then I used a label maker to add Left and Right and the pressure range of 10-65 psi. I also put the unloaded ride height front and rear so I could level the vehicle.

My dad had a car where the bags were filled together with a tee so I didn't make that mistake again.
That's a great idea. I really like big women so if I isolated my bags then I could really pump up the right one after I pick one up at the bar and she's in the passenger seat :D My vehicle will no longer squat on the right side only!

I'm kind of a rookie hauling little toy lawn tractors and toy backhoes around so I feel like I majorly screwed up installing a tee with my airbags :cool2: I'm just devastated.

Both options will work independent is better for some applications. If yours works well for you great. However it could be better for some being able to individually control your load if you choose to do so or the need arise. Plus individual helps control a unsuspected shifting load.

Exactly. If all you plan to do is tow a trailer then T'd is no biggie because the weight is low and centered to the truck. Stuff the truck high with bales of hay and you have a different story. My setup is similar to Garandman, same van and also put the valves behind the fuel door. I never know what I'll use the van for: haulin a camper, full of people and stuff, bikes on the back or maybe canoes on top. If it's running top heavy I don't want a T, if it's just the camper then a T is fine. To each his own, the OP asked opinions and I gave mine. No pi$$ing matches needed.

Most vehicles already weigh more on the left due to the driver controls. We don't have them independent for side to side balance but to maintain better control in corners.

Thank you for your polite input.Makes perfect sense for the application I was looking for. Thanks again.

the safety aspect was already covered, see post #16 and #17. For a simple test put a few PSI in the 2 bags and connect them with tubing. Then step on 1 bag and see what happens. It will compress and the air in that bag and it will be forced through the tube and into the other bag that is not being compressed. Now do the same thing but dont' connect the bags with a hose. Put pressure on one and it will compress slightly but since the air can't get out it will provide resistance which is what you are trying to accomplish.

Follow the instructions that come with the bags. They will tell you to isolate each bag as well.

I have done that too, this is exactly what happens. Besides, no more than you will be adding or removing air what is the inconvenience of using 2 valves for that added margin of safety?

Because they do not want to.
Time to let the TEE debate die.

The tee works great for me and I'm not hauling around little toy tractors either.
