The stuff I haul is centered. Once again if I had a trailer with say 2,000 pounds on the driver's side and 10,000 no the passenger side then yes I see the benefit of running different pressures. ?

Do you think your load stays centered when you go around a curve? What about a clover leaf? Exit ramp? Corner?

You load shifts when going around a corner, cloverleaf, exit ramp, etc..... That is a fact. More weight is on the outside axle. That is a fact.

When you have 2 bags connected with hose and put more pressure on 1 bag the air moves to the other bag. That is a fact. When this happens while going around a cloverleaf your air bag system will actually be creating body roll instead of giving you side to side stability.

And you are the center of this entertainment.Talk about cocky? You fit the bill just perfect.Take a DEEP BREATH and let it go little buddy.LOL

There is not doubt that you are 100% of the entertainment on this thread. This was by far your funniest line. I think it sums up your maturity level and intellect level all in one sentence. Thanks for entertaining us! Keep up the great work.

This thread is pure entertainment. Watching people act cocky even thought they clearly don't understand how air suspension works is hilarious. Even going to the point of bragging about spending money on additional parts that cause the system to not provide side to side stability. The only thing you did was spend time and money to defeat one of the main benefits of air bags. Congrats!

Adjustable Air Pressure

The air pressure in your Ride-Rite springs can be adjusted manually, side to side, to compensate for off-center loads. A centered load improves the stability of your vehicle by reducing body roll.

To those of you with a tee can you control side to side stability, compensate for off center loads, or control body roll? Nope. congrats you just defeated many of the benefits of installing air bags on your truck. Time to brag about how smart you are, again.

Purchasing a air bag suspension kit to improve stability and safety when hauling $500
Purchasing a Tee that defeats one of the main benefits of air bag suspensions= $20
Braggin on the internet about how smart you are for installing a tee in your system= Priceless

LAffin.
Laffin also I don,t get your math or maybe have extra money to burn?sdtrucksprings for the firestone airbags and tee is $292.19(shipped).Since your are the authority on everything one would think you would have caught the higher price on etrailer is $354.65

Just looked it up.
Mine were $255 shipped for the Firestone airbags in 2011.

No problem. I always try to help.

You never did answer my question about weight distribution going around curves, corners, and clover leafs.

Do you think the weight stays 50/50 on the rear tires or does weight shift to the outside tire?

To be honest with 110 psi in the bags I highly doubt the pressure changes much at all to really matter. My trucks tow my equipment great. You seem more worried than me about it.

From Firestone.
Single control uses one switch to fill two air springs with the same air pressure, while a dual control, allow independent control of the pressure in each spring.

Recommendations:
Single - Towing applications, centered loads, general usage.
Dual - Slide-in campers, off-centered loads, motorhomes, utility vans.
