Pretty much the same information in my instructions post#28 of this thread.Maybe firestone printed the wrong instructions?What is that old saying don,t debate to long with idiots they will beat you with experience.I guess he wins?LOL,

Well apparently there is a lot of debate about which way to plumb your airlines. The way I see it, is that the guys that used a tee have no argument that it's better, just that it is "good enough", and it has worked fine for them. That's fine, I don't care what they do. I can see the advantage of keeping them seperate, and if the parts are there in the kit to do it that way, why not? Is it that big of a deal either way for most people?... apparently not. I just don't see the stubborn defense of the ones on the "tee" side of the debate, can you honestly come up with a reason why it is actually better, aside from being easier?

Could you get by with running "d" tires on your truck? Probably for a while at least, but would you?

Could you get by with one strap (or chain) on a tractor? Maybe, and it could "work out" for you for years, but it doesn't mean it's better... just easier.

If nothing else, at least I learned something from this thread. If I had purchased an air spring kit before reading this, I don't know which way I would have gone. I may not have thought about the transferring of air from one side to the other, and just thought like some of the others... "who cares, I don't need fill each side differently" and maybe I would have tee'd them together. So anyway, thanks guys for the debate.

I guess Firestone and Air Ride people are idiots for saying you can tee them together for general hauling? Surely they know a little about their products???

FOR ME the tee is the way to go. I like having an on board compressor with wireless transmitter. In a given day moving from farm to farm I can haul 3 tractors, a skid loader, baler, and hay rake. I like hooking on and then leveling my truck with the wireless transmitter in the middle of a field or wherever. If all I hauled was one little tractor or a 5th wheel then I doubt I would care for the on board compressor or adjusting pressure multiple times per day.

My install was more difficult using the tee and on board compressor than hooking each back up individually so it's not like I took the easy way out. Some of you are far too concerned with what other people are doing. I like how some commenting have never even ran a truck with bags on it, or with a tee, or without. I can honestly say my trucks with tees ride just as good as my friend's truck that has isolated bags. This isn't rocket science. Big trucks don't have their bags isolated.

Have you ever hauled with a truck with airbags teed and one with them isolated? I bet I hear crickets....

Personally, no I have never hauled with a truck with TEEd suspension.

But then, I am smart enough not to!

You can continue to spout off and make yourself look more ignorant, but I am going to unsubscribe to this thread, as I have seen all the uneducated drivel regarding air bags I need to
