Does the city / county use a knuckle boom loader for debris haul off?

I'm not sure, since its in an adjoining city.. I don't think it was them, since they didn't take all of it.. Seems strange that anybody with the proper equipment wouldn't have taken all of it... Unless they scratched the car, and decided to get out of there..

Can you post pictures of the scratches on the car?
Can you describe the car's proximty to the logs? Was the car parked in line with the logs or perpendicular to same?
Were the scratches on the logs at the same elevation as the scratches on the car?
Was the car scrtached on the side or on the top?
Did you notice any other strange objects or marks on the street or pavement?

The logs were lower than the car. I'm not sure where the car was parked in relationship to the pile of logs, but I'm assuming that it was parked beside it. I didn't notice any strange marks other than on a couple of the logs. The scratches are on the hood of the car.

That would make sense... And it would explain the evenly spaced scratches.. But it seems like the scratches on the hood would extend down farther, if a chain hit it, and slid down.
