Wow, ok. So, now you folks wish to personally attack me. Very mature. AS NOTED IN THE ORIGINAL POST, THIS IS A WARNING.

--> YES, I have attempted to contact them and I have gotten NO WHERE. IS NO ONE READING MY POSTS? LD1 CLEARLY HASN'T.

USER LD1 with 10,000+ posts is so arrogant to think that more posts on this forum has ANY relevance to credibility or "pull"? Guess what? It doesn't. There is no contest for making posts. You need to get a life.

The original post was made as a WARNING to others. Those who have comments directly on topic, and related to the situation are welcome. Personal attacks by LD1 and Furu are not welcome.

One sided? What more do you want? I have provided 100% factual data.

This is not "internet bashing". Do you folks even have a clue to what that means? I haven't stated "avoid them", or "run away, they're con artists". I have only stated my direct experience. I haven't even stated my opinion about DHH past "It's comically ridiculous". Which is absolutely correct. I CAN start the bashing, however, I don't feel that's appropriate.

This is a warning on DiscountHydraulicHose.com.
I placed an order with them on 7/21/2014. It's now been over a month and I'm still waiting on back ordered items. I asked them last week for a status check through their online chat. I was told, the items "might" be in that week's incoming shipment. Evidently, not so. At this point, I could have ordered the same off brand fittings directly from China and have already gotten them. You have been warned. You may never get the parts you ordered. I have a non-time sensitive cart queued on their web site, however, I'm not willing to place any additional orders if they can't fulfill existing orders. It's comically ridiculous.

I went back and reread the thread.

May have missed a post by you (7 total in this thread) but the only thing that I have found that you have done other than order and wait is an "on-line chat" See above.

Do you have that individual's name? Why not call and discuss the problem and have them refund the charges with an order cancellation. Why have you not done anything like calling them on the phone? Or have you and I missed it in my re-read of the thread? I only found the "online chat" comment.
You have had several good suggestions made by folks. You have not, at least appeared to not have, tried any of them. That is why folks seem confused by your actions and attitude. Try to resolve the problem at the lowest level conflict that you can. If unsuccessful then elevate and try something more aggressive. It appears that you have not tried very hard (at least by what you have communicated in your posts) to resolve the problem. We can only go by what you tell us.

Happy Monday morning, everyone!

I would like to apologize to Bottleworks for the extended delay in completing his order. We have attempted to reach him this morning, and we will do whatever we can to resolve his problem, including offering him a refund or a substitute fitting.

Unfortunately, we have not been able to deliver the fitting that he ordered. Our supplier (a US-based manufacturer) promised to ship this fitting several weeks ago, but they still have not filled our order. This situation is frustrating and, thankfully, not very common, but it does happen from time to time. Successful manufacturers have tight production schedules and do everything possible to make their products available on a timely basis. Sometimes, though, demand is greater than the supply.

That said, I would like to thank all of the DiscountHydraulicHose.com customers who came to our defense here. I would have responded sooner, but I don't normally check this forum over the weekend.

To clarify a few points for everyone who is interested in how we handle backorders at DiscountHydraulicHose.com.

1) It is our policy to notify customers within one business day whenever an item is not in stock. We will provide an estimated shipping date at that time.

2) More than half of all orders are filled within 3 business days, and most backorders are filled within one week or less.

3) When your parts are in stock, and we receive you order before 3 PM EST, we will usually ship your order the same business day we receive it. We are unable to display stock status on our web site, but our customer service staff will check inventory if you contact us before placing your order.

Personal attacks by LD1 and Furu are not welcome.

I did not personally attack anyone in this thread. Why dont you quote what you "think" is a personal attack by me so i can figure out what you are talking about?

USER LD1 with 10,000+ posts is so arrogant to think that more posts on this forum has ANY relevance to credibility or "pull"? Guess what? It doesn't. There is no contest for making posts. You need to get a life.

So you claim I was personally attacking you, and then through a PM you tell me you reported me, and tehn resort to a personal attack and name calling yourself?

And the reality is, post count does mean credibility. We get to know one-another on here. Same thing in real life. Who is more credible to you, someone you have known for years or someone you just met?

--> YES, I have attempted to contact them and I have gotten NO WHERE. IS NO ONE READING MY POSTS? LD1 CLEARLY HASN'T.

Yes. All I read was that you asked for a status update VIA online chat, and they responded with the most accurate information they had available AT THE TIME. Thats it. You never asked for a refund, you never called, you never followed up. And now want to get the CC company involved????? Makes no sense to me.:confused2:

And funny, now they have tried to contact you and seem to have gotten NO WHERE. Funny how that works.

This is why I don't. Folks who have so much free time that they can post 9-10 thousand posts on a forum are inherently problematic. They LIKE to try to pull threads off topic. I'm proud to say, that I have better things to do.

I post 4 or 5 times a day average. Takes a whole whopping 10-15 minutes of my life a day to make those posts. But FAR more is done reading and gaining knowledge that is shared on this forum. Are you saying you dont have any free time for hobbies or whatnot?

You have had several good suggestions made by folks. You have not, at least appeared to not have, tried any of them. That is why folks seem confused by your actions and attitude. Well said.

Always good to hear the other side...

Thanks for posting.

 Yes, always good to hear both sides. Thanks DHH.
