It's a safe bet that if your order was one day away from DHH in an Ohio supplier's warehouse you would have had it 28 days ago. If you don't want "couch coaching" don't hang around TBN, there's no shortage of that here. Have your cc company reverse the transaction and move on.

If you can't stand the scrutiny or devils advocate approach why did you start this thread? I noticed you did not comment on asking for your money back, you mentioned filing a complaint with the credit card company. I like you and most people fully expect to get the merchandise that I pay for in a timely manner. If the seller for whatever reason can't meet the time frame then I would expect my money back too. I have not seen where anyone feels they are content with no show merchandise shipments. As far as the couch coach I would wonder if you are looking for a resolution or not?

I have purchased from DHH and was delighted with the service they provided. Will use them again if needed.

Yup - same here.

On my recent order there were out of some fittings - I got an email from Brenda as follows:

"Thank you for your order. (2) 2703LN-06-06-06 (2) 1501L-04-04 are BACK ORDERED. Those parts should be in within approximately 4-5 business days. Let me know if you would like for me to ship what I have today, cancel these parts or wait for this order to ship complete. Please note that there will be separate shipping charges if shipping partial."

Since I wasn't in a big hurry, I told her to go ahead and wait to see if they came in in 4-5 days and if not then just ship what she had and cancel the rest ... I would source those locally.

This was the reply I recieved back:

"Okay I will ship the order complete and will keep you updated,Have a great day."

Three days after that I received notice that the order had shipped, complete.

AFAIC, they're good folks to deal with ... although they are not always the cheapest on some things.

So I should only post when it's best for you. I didn't know there was a shelf life on posts or don't you read the whole thread? So nobody can tell the truth because it might upset someone? If I use your thinking, the OP should not have posted anything to start with. So I don't waste my time waiting for cheap parts from china and get my stuff from a local shop, is that what your whining about? If you don't like my posts, you can always put me on your ignore list.

Just questioning the motives of the OP. After subsequent posts, it seems pretty clear that he has not contacted DHH for refund or other resolution. So at this point, it is my opinion that this post was started for the sole purpose of tring to hurt DHH's business. Had nothing to do about giving us a "friendly" warning. No posts in 4 years, and less than 10 posts total when this was posted, and out of the blue, late on a Friday, this post pops up??????

Again, just questioning some motives.

I think "internet bashing" is when someone says something about someone or a company that is not true or false.

At this point, we just dont know do we?

At this point, I'm going to file a complaint with the credit card company. I do expect them to reply on here.

Why the CC company? Why not contact DHH and ask for a refund? a question that you seem to be avoiding??

What further troubles me is that many on here are content that this is an acceptable business practice. Of course, those who speak to that, don't have dealings with DHH. I'm not looking for a couch coach.

No one is content with it. But we are all human. And things happen. Items were back ordered. Perhaps they were shipped to you weeks ago and it is an error on the shipping company?? You have made no reference of contacting DHH and no mention of what their response was other than an internet chat a week ago. In which you simply asked for a status update and they responded that they hoped they would be in on the next shipment. CALL THEM. It really is that simple. No need to involve your CC company etc.

3. This is not "internet bashing". That was avoided. Re-read my post.

The tone of the whole thread puts DHH in a very negative light. Weather it is deserved or not, we dont have enough info to decide, as this is completely one-sided. So one-sided negative attacks towards a company = bashing

And just to add a bit more. In total, over the past ~5 years, I have spent over $1,000 with them. I have my own hose crimper and I work on quite a bit of equipment.

Spending a whole $200 a year certainly dont put you in their VIP club or frequent-flyer program by a long shot. Not sure why you even mentioned this.

Just saw this thread and am wondering if the back ordered fittings are an odd type fitting that isn't very common? Maybe the factory had to wait for a production run or something? Seems to me like talking to the supplier could clear it up and if you can find the fittings elsewhere, it shouldn't be a problem getting a refund. If they are a special fitting, you likely wouldn't get them faster anywhere else.

Have ordered from them several times. Sometimes very timely others a bit of a delay. When there was a delay that I thought excessive, I contacted them and got resolution very quickly; similar to the quoted post from rswyan.

I would encourage folks to use them for non time critical supplies and save the money. If time critical pay more and go to the store and spend more in gas than the shipping charges from DHH. Actually the thread has educated folks as to what DHH has and the savings you can have (if you never heard of them before) and the positive reviews from responders outweigh the negative. Actually a win overall for DHH. They are probably happy with the number of posters that have come to their defense and posted good comments.

The OP reminds me of a poster a month or so back about a Canadian CE issue with some machines. One sided attack and would not respond to the comments/suggestions that folks brought up.
Narrow minded victim-hood is alive and well.

Wow, ok. So, now you folks wish to personally attack me. Very mature. AS NOTED IN THE ORIGINAL POST, THIS IS A WARNING.

--> YES, I have attempted to contact them and I have gotten NO WHERE. IS NO ONE READING MY POSTS? LD1 CLEARLY HASN'T.

USER LD1 with 10,000+ posts is so arrogant to think that more posts on this forum has ANY relevance to credibility or "pull"? Guess what? It doesn't. There is no contest for making posts. You need to get a life.

The original post was made as a WARNING to others. Those who have comments directly on topic, and related to the situation are welcome. Personal attacks by LD1 and Furu are not welcome.

One sided? What more do you want? I have provided 100% factual data.

This is not "internet bashing". Do you folks even have a clue to what that means? I haven't stated "avoid them", or "run away, they're con artists". I have only stated my direct experience. I haven't even stated my opinion about DHH past "It's comically ridiculous". Which is absolutely correct. I CAN start the bashing, however, I don't feel that's appropriate.

If you don't want "couch coaching" don't hang around TBN, there's no shortage of that here.

This is why I don't. Folks who have so much free time that they can post 9-10 thousand posts on a forum are inherently problematic. They LIKE to try to pull threads off topic. I'm proud to say, that I have better things to do.

Good for you, yeah I have been home most of the day taking care of my mother who is in bad shape. I have lots of responsibilities and lots of things to do, TBN provides a break from all of this and is something I can do from home. Time for you to grow up.
