Well I gave it a try tonight - I hooked up the trailer and did a few laps around the yard and decided it is not a good option. Too many tress and dead end turns I can't get around. Now the real question is do I want to drop $2300 bucks for a grass picker upper?? That cash would get me a lot of hunting and fishing gear...... Been eyeing a new deer rifle....

FWIW, I bought my Kubota bagger used on Craigslist for $1k

They do look very nice for the money. Looks like similar quality as the OEM units. I still can't understand how these inexpensive tractors at Home Depot can have a bagger system for a few hundred dollars that works but we need to lay out 2K for anything.
Thank you for the link!

I would say keep looking at your used section in craigslist.

This just popped up, and there are a few others....I plan on looking this weekend.

I have owned a Cyclone Rake for 12 years now and would not do without it. I used it on my JD 325, JD 465, Kubota 1860 and now on my Kubota BX25D. I have had to replace a few parts due to wear and tare, but that's it. I own 3 acres, mow about 1 and my entire property is surrounded by trees. I watch my neighbors deal with the fall leaves while I drive around on my BX and pick them up and then dump them in the woods, where they came from. Best money I ever spent on a piece of lawn equipment......

I am not too worried about tree leaf falling and such, just grass clippings. My grass is so darn thick it just looks like ****.

If you watch this video you can see at about 30sec in just how much grass clippings I have just around the house....not even thinking about going out into the "field"

I really think that getting the vac would help with the overall health with the "yard" and take care of the dead spots....it was never a problem when we bailed, but now it just looks real bad....and I am past even raking around the house...my back just can't take that anymore.
