Well, with jeff9366 suggestion, I checked eBay and low & behold.....$19.95 for 2210 service manual. That's what I was talking about....others are just money hungry!

There are NO Yanmar OEM service manuals for your tractor in English. Any manual will be written by a third party user. Don't expect to get a factory manual.

thought tractorbynet was a reputable tractor forum.

Wasn't able to change the oil like a normal tractor(Darn Japanese!) because the stupid drain plug sits above the drive-shaft for 4wd so I had to improvise and manually suck the oil out through dipstick hole.

I checked eBay and low & behold.....$19.95 for 2210 service manual. That's what I was talking about....others are just money hungry!

Japanese aren't stupid and didn't specify that drain plug over the drive shaft. You need to understand that what you bought is a FrankensteinMar cobbled together from various used parts never intended by Yanmar to be used on the same tractor.

I hope you read the negative feedback from the last guy who bought that Parts (not Service!) manual off ebay.

Welcome.

As you are learning old grey market tractors require some skills to keep them up and running from time to time. An old red belly Ford can do a lot of light work, easy to find parts and work on. Once you get your fluids changed and all you may have years of service out of your tractor that you bought. I have looked at tractors like yours but since we do our own work I have passed on some tempting deals for the reasons you have stated but that is just me.

Fact? BS. My X still is a office manager of a Printing Co. Half her Bindery Girls are from Indonesia, Japan, Korea, name it! Give her a Factory Manual and she have it Translated and typeset in a few Hrs. Ready to copy or go to press. Just because there are some Poor Quailty manuals out there doesn't mean there all like that. Get what you pay for.

Okay Norm. WT? did JD. do when they sold the 240, 650,750,850,950. etc. rewrite a whole Manual?. No! Not offer a Manual in English. That was Sold in the US. Don't think so. They would have Gotten it UTDA. by UTDA so Darn fast they never would have hit the US. Market. My guess is they had them Translated into English. And they surely didn't rewrite the whole manual for a couple of different options. And in almost 30yrs. you don't think that all someone had to do and figure out and the only changes was to Translate and add the Grey option back to get a English Manual. ?
