On a walk today,I came across these droppings that looked larger than deer droppings. There were reports of beer in the area but growing up in the city, I need some help.

Yes, that's my key and it didn't pass through the animal. :D

What tracks are around it? Bust a few open to see what it was eating.

Looks like a big deer to me too.

I've seen deer before and I remember them to be smaller. These were the size of a large tootsie roll just cut about 3/4" long.

And No, I didn't see if they tasted like one.

Was the deer intoxicated?;)

Steve

Haha, I just got your joke and see my typo.

I was geocaching (google if not aware) and someone had mentioned at there were bear droppings in the area so I wondered. I did find the cache but there was no beer included.

Bigger deer make bigger turds. :)

What they are eating can change the size too. I've seen all sizes of deer scat, but I'm not sure if they taste like tootsie rolls or not.

Yes, I looked it up and you're right, Moose poop it is. I'll do a DNA test and see if it's Bullwinkle.

My guess would be Elk. Moose scat I have seen is bigger (Idaho/Montana).
