First stump (Pine that was long ago cut & gone) I'd tried to "extract," quite a learning curve. Could only remove so much to begin with (with the backhoe.) Had to back away from the stump and use the FEL to dig a "ramp" so that I could once again use the backhoe.

This is my first tractor, and had been told that it was too small to achieve what I wanted. (with regards to large stumps) My reply was, "I can dig that stump up with a SPOON, given long enough to work at it!"

I worked on it for two days (after work) & rolled it out on the third. "Rolled" because there's NO WAY that little BX can pick it up.

I'm only on 2.4 acres, (2 of which heavily wooded.)

This little beast is PERFECT for my needs. I wanted a front end loader AND the backhoe. I won't move mountains QUICKLY, but it'll surly move them!

Do I wish it were bigger sometimes... yep.

I can understand the op's disappointment with the FEL capacity...

However, it was purchased for my wants/needs and not to make money. (TIME = money)

That is exactly right, even with a full size backhoe you can't just back up to a typical big stump and pop it out. You have to work the roots .

Hahaha this made me laugh:)
Thread gone bad once again!

Cherokee is all the time trying to stir up trouble/ start arguments about things he does not have a clue about. I don't want to argue with him. If he would have came back like a civilized person maybe things could have been worked out.

Well if you have an aerator it can pull that.....
Barely:)

The picture of the aerator made my laugh!!

I bought a new BX2370 this summer and I love that little thing. I was actually surprised how good the loader was considering the size.
I'm going to go crank up my D7 now and move some dirt, then I'm going to disappoint myself when I jump on my 9,000lb Komatsu D21.....

Funny how only those that disagree with me feel that way.

If I would only admit that I was not insulted everything would work out.

Reminds me of a BMW forum I know of.

So where is the real tractor or backhoe you used to dig that hole.....or did it take you a month to do it. :p

What ever you do PLEASE don't tell my grandson it's not a REAL tractor. When I gave it to him he said it was great but that REAL tractors are orange like yours Papa .Out of the mouths of babes.
