That's a rule I try to live by.;)

Using vise-grips on a hex nut and bolt will quickly round off the heads & wreck them. First, use a wrench or socket to wreck the nut and bolt, THEN use the vise grips after you've rounded off the heads. :laughing:

Kioti DK-35 and up use the same type split brake lock as the red tractor pics show, EXCEPT the brakes are on the left and the go fwd/rev pedals are on the right, next to each other, where they belong.:)

I agree, and you may remember that was a consideration when I bought the CK. As for the convoluted locking system? Only thing I can figure is because the brakes are on the same side as the HST pedal, they have to be further outboard, with a different angle in the suspended pedals, which prevents the conventional latch from working. but I think it would still work. Well, as we all know, there is no such thing as the perfect tractor.
