That's where I wish I had installed my accessory outlet....installed in on the key panel instead. Just make sure you use a marine type outlet for better protection from the elements.

Found what may be the perfect switch - sealed motorcycle on/off switch.
Trail Tech 040-LS-B Black Push Button Light Switch. Available on Amazon.
I am thinking I'm going to drill a hole in the metal bracket that holds the tool box, near the right fender.
West Marine sells the similar Perko switch.

Ha,ha,ha. Almost caught me on that question. I know from experience that there are about X100 different plug types. I went to my local NAPA store, got matching male/female plug set. Clipped off the Kubota provided plug and used the mated set for the connection. Easy as pie.

Well, I've been to two auto parts stores (Advance and NAPA) and neither had anything that looks like this.
Tried Radio Shack, they had some two pin connectors but not 90 degree and not locking.

I just used 2 normal crimp spade connectors. Worked fine while I had it temporarily plugged in there, wasn't sealed or heavily secured though.

I've done a fair amount of boat [in salt water] and motor cycle accessory wiring. When I first started, it was "Whatever will get me back on the road/water fastest."
After learning the error of my ways, I'm now in the solder/dielectric grease/heat shrink tubing school. Once I connect it I don't ever want to think about the connection again, ever.
...Do want to use a connector for this though as I'm not sure how I'll like the light.
