Well I had to leave my tractor out in the rain, 8560 4wd. Been out there for two days. Last night we had one heck of a storm. Just about bedtime it started beeping. Setting there all alone not running ignition off. It was raining like heck. This morning the battery was dead. Any ideas?

I would take a charger and recharge a battery. Would see what happens then.
Yes, I'll do that after work if it's not raining. We have had six inches since Friday. It is a new battery, replaced a couple of months ago.

I have had similar cases - more than one - with the customers (example, luggage or interior light left on) of complete new battery discharge. And nothing wrong happens. Just needs to recharge it as quick as possible. Good luck.

sometimes things go back to normal when the electronics dry out.

Nod, I'm not an expert, but I would start by using the method used in this link in order to determine how the battery is being drained. Short circuit or bad battery? Testing for car electrical problems

Besides the method proposed by AchingBack I would suggest the following test:
1/ Try to find out which fuse is feeding a horn signal by removing one by one;
2/ With the horn fuse removed try to start an engine.
Usually horn circuit is separate from a starter circuit (at least in my tractor).
If an engine could be started with the battery well charged, it could mean you have a horn issue, which could come on after long beeping. If an engine couldn't be started, it could be battery failure.
That would help you to determine either you have a battery issue, or a tractor electrical issue.
Keep us informed on the results.

In the manual it gives 4 instances for beeping.
1 turn signals
2 high coolant temp
3 engine low oil temp
4 service due
If it's not one of those 4, maybe one of the sensors was effected by the rain?
Trying to read the schematic, it looks like the buzzer is called a "hooter".
