John Deere 2350 tractor under powered PTO need info on hydraulics on this

Thanks,, I was wondering if this changes the prior opinions about the correct valves.. It would seem to me that if the valve was the opposite type needed,, it would have never worked last year.

If the valve is correct and it previously worked OK, then I would check for an incorrectly coupled quick coupler, low hydraulic oil, plugged filter, or plugged screen.
Another remote possibility is one of the internal lines to the PTO clutch or brake is broken bleeding off all the pressure internally. Does engaging the PTO make a difference?

To DrBill, yes to your question...it worked well then (last October) when the Tractor rpm was revved higher. Now revving up the tractor yields no results....same JD 2350

If it worked last year then it will work much better with a CC plug installed.

How was the loader hydraulics connected to the tractor?
Has there been a pump fitted to the tractor's pto or not?
As previously stated an open center splitter valve throughly the SCV will cause the 2350's front hydraulic pump to cavitate as there is now way the transmission pump can keep up with demand.
Sorry the pictures did not really show anything that we can use. We need to see the hydraulic lines from tractor to splitter end to end without interruption . We need the splitter valve nameplate .
If supplied from the tractor's scv, did somebody shove the lever all the way into "float" ? Where is the rabbit / turtle lever on the scv valve ?

I think you and I both know how the loader should be connected and are correct not to assume anything.

From the pictures in Post #11

Picture 3 shows nothing on the PTO shaft
Picture 5 shows the plate you change to allow float has not been changed, so I do not think the valve is in float.
Picture 2 & 5 shows a stick being used to hold the valve lever forward. I assume they put the lever to the first dent and it was kicking out (as it should)
Picture 6 shows the metering lever (rabbit/turtle) for the SCV at the bottom of the valve. It looks to be all the way to fast (rabbit)

Lever on the top(parts key 12) is used to uncouple/couple the male tip while under pressure. There is no lever/valve on breakaway coupler to turn oil on/off.

How was the loader hydraulics connected to the tractor?

From this photo OP posted I'm guessing FEL valve will be connected to tractor correctly.

The hoses shown in that picture are to the loader and it (loader) works properly.
