Nothing to it really. If you have a lot of rocks, the Harley rake is going to work better than the other two. If not many rocks, either the disc or tiller will work. Kill the grass first. If you don't, you will have ground-up sod that will try to regrow. If you don't kill the grass, at least mow it short to help stop regrowth. The tiller set to just a couple inches deep will give you a dirt track in 2 passes. The disc harrow will take a few passes depending on disc model, setup and weight.

The RoundUp suggestion is a good one. Now that RoundUp is off-patent, the generic versions of glyphosate might be a bit cheaper and just as effective. Don't spray on a windy or rainy day if you care about effectiveness with minimal collateral damage.
