I forgot about their bees and quail when I was making my list. But we got both chicken tractors moved on Sunday, so they are in fresh grass.

I have thought about getting quail.
BIL used to raise quail in large numbers. They just got a couple dozen eggs and hatched them out so he can decide if he wants to get back into it. But Whiteoak snakes got over a quarter of the chicks right as they were hatching, then a few more the next week. But the ones left are laying now. When you are scrambling eggs for breakfast, it takes a lot less peacock eggs than quail eggs to fill you up. Larro
