those are great devices!!
I don't know about the better load front or rear but I would rather see what I'm doing in front of me than looking over my shoulder all the time.

You might want to work thru the math before you try lifting items with an extended boom off your FEL...

I like the poles on the loaders because you could see where it's going easier, but I'd put a set of holes for the clevis every foot or so. Then you could lift something that was small, but very heavy with less stress on the bucket. But still have an attachment point out on the end for the large, not so heavy items. The Ag Krane for the compact tractors EXB060 looks like what you need for those big jobs. The price list Pricelist says it's $1755. Not bad if you have to move something really heavy.

I am about to build one of these for my tractor, and I was curious if anybody has any new builds or info.

I need something to move around bulk bags ( super sacks) In the winter while the FEL is off , and front snowblower is on. I tried a regular boom pole, but it could hardly lift them off the ground because of how far back i had to lift. ~1500 lb

A 3pt forklift boom might be the answer there.

That would be awesome, and i have been keeping my eyes open for one, but this should be pretty low budget. I picked up a hoist yesterday, i will post photos when it's done.

It went pretty well. I had to drill new holes in the draw bar to get it bolted down. Looks like it will do the job. image.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpg
