Loader B2920 48" FEL vs 50" FEL?

What material will you be unloading?
Will the bucket even reach forward enough to get between the wheel wells of your pickup? I know that when I was loading pallets into a pickup truck with my B2920, the grill guard on the tractor was pressing on the pickup's rear bumper before the pallets were very far forward. A bucket is even shorter than pallet forks. If you have a full size pickup with a standard or long bed, I doubt the B2920 front bucket would reach to the wheel wells even with the tailgate removed..
For that matter, do you really think you could line up the 48" bucket so perfectly with the 48" spacing between wheel wells? I really doubt it. You can't see the lower edge of the bucket from the steering wheel.

You can build a tractor on the Kubota site to see what options are available. I don't recall seeing alternate buckets available for the B2920. There isn't even a factory quick-attach option, though some have retrofitted from a B3200, but then you're looking at even wider 54"/60" buckets.
There may be a way to put a 48" bucket from a B2320 on a B2920, but as they are different front loaders, I have no idea if they can swap. For that matter, maybe get a B2320 instead; it's smaller and lighter. Not sure I would want to drive either into the bed of a loaded pickup though.

The Kubota site won't let me spec the bucket from the LA304 onto the LA364, which is what I basically want to do. I'll call the dealer and ask them. As far as the weight in the truck, the entire tractor will not be in the bed. First scoop the tractor is still on the loading dock ramp, which removes weight from the bed. The last scoop the front end of the tractor is on the bed but most of the load has been removed by then...been here done this...just need the right sized bucket! 
I'd prefer a dump trailer to a dump truck, but the budget won't allow for that at this time!

I guess your bucket is not a QA bucket so most buckets like that are held on with 4 pins or bolts. Fairly easy to remove and swap. My Mahindra 2615 had 1" dia. bolts and nuts. I removed them and replaced them with 1" pull pins from TSC. That made swapping the bucket easier. I used to remove the bucket to use pin on forks and a pin on snow plow blade.
