... Have you considered using electric/hydraulic diverter valves to gain more remotes? Fasse makes some very nice stackable valves. You would control your cylinder by your original single rear OEM valve, and just flip and electrical switch to select the additional outlets you want. In my opinion cheaper, neater, and easier to install than the factory 2nd remote kit. Plus you can add up to 3 more if you want by stacking the electric/hydraulic valves. Look here.

I thought about that but the factory kit seemed simpler, at first. I now think the Fasse valve may be a cheaper, better solution. The actual valves seem reasonable enough but I suspect costs for the needed QD connectors, adapters, wiring, etc. could add up.

For those trying to visualize the setup, these pictures should help: valves. You would still control using the OEM lever, the switches just select which set of outputs is being controlled.

So I would have switches for each remote instead of levers. I would not like that as I could not feather anything or even have float.

Negative, the switch just selects which remote is active at any given time. You still use the OEM selective control valve to control the flow rate.

I don't think it works that way.
The switch's are only to divert to the different areas through the valves, the lever should still control it while there for feathering.

Boy I sure would like to see that. Is that like Mtn View ranch?

Look at all the pictures here. 3 valve bank for 4 total sets, all controlled with the single OEM control lever now with a Scorpion control grip. 2 thumb buttons and a trigger switch. A fairly quick, easy and super clean installation.

As has been mentioned,1,2 or 3 diverter valves. And please stop calling them Fasse valves. Fasse valves have multiple solenoids and are aluminum. These Bosch valves are cast iron and only have a single solenoid.

If a person wants to save some money, there are sort of copies that are made in China, I can't seem to give them away though. :confused3:

And for those people with no rear remotes, this can still be done by using the loader control valve as the controlling valve.

One last thing, $650 for a single, $955 for a double and $1260 for a triple set. Remember, that is what is added in addition to what you already have, these kits have pretty much everything included in them, so you don't have to be shopping for other parts and pieces. ;)

Yup I bought one of those kits on Ebay about 5 years ago and still haven't gotten around to installing it. I paid $30 for it cz nobody bid on it.
Also partially because it means taking a lot of stuff apart, which means deadlining the tractor for a day at least.

Not sure what you are talking about, with diverters there is nothing that has to be taken apart??? :confused3: I think that you must be talking about a true 3rd function kit where you have to go into the main hydraulic feed line, or the actual Kioti manual rear remote valve.

Please clarify so that others will understand what kit it is that you are talking about.;)

Um, I have a Kioti DK45 cab tractor. The hydraulic valve for the single rear remote is located roughly under your right hand butt cheek when seated inside. In order to add the second remote, which requires piggy backing the second valve onto the single, you have to put the back end up on jack stands and remove the right rear wheel. Also a couple of blanking panels, the tool box, the operator's seat and the A-N-B lever cover panel.
At the moment I cannot recall exactly what all is included in the kit. I opened the box, read thru the instructions and at that point put it all back in the box, cz it was going to eat up an entire Saturday, which I have yet to schedule. I remember there being a valve, some bolts, some pipes and a new plate for the 4 remote couplers along with a bunch of stuff in baggies. It's still in the box at the barn over on the Eastern Shore and I prolly won't get there until next weekend.
Maybe you could do all this without removing all the stuff they say to remove in the instructions. I certainly couldn't. Plus...they are translated from Korean to English and obviously without the aid of Google Translate, so they are a bit cryptic here and there. There are pretty good drawings tho...
The bolts holding the single valve come out and get replaced with longer bolts that hold the second valve in place. Then there are some hard pipe tubes that go to the second remotes. Finally there is linkage that must be connected so that the A-N-B selector lever will select which remotes get juice.

02batsea, thank you for clearing this up. I am not saying that I could do your install any faster, my concern was that other people reading the posts would not know what kit it was that you were talking about since the topic changed from the OEM 2nd rear remote valve to a diverter rear remote system. There is no down time required with a diverter system.

Thanks again. ;)

James I looked up that Fasse Valve system, pretty darn interesting. Can do a stack of 8 remotes if you want.
