Shoveled more snow. It now has covered up everything with a couple of inches of new stuff. Time to bring out the snowblower. In the am... Right now a hot shower, followed by a warm bed is in order.

Have a good one!!

well gosh the answer is right in front of us. He was born in 2009 so he is only 5; no wonder he is so chipper...;) A mature five year old I might add and talented with a tractor too...what is in today's cereal?

I wish. :). When young you can't wait to get older. When older you wish you were younger with everything you know. I am at the age I wish I could stay at forever. Ive done a lot in a short time. Accomplished some of my goals and still have more to do.

Drew. 2009 is the year I started farming full time.

I saw where the girl's basketball team that was stuck in the snow were rescued, but at least 5 other people had died. Too early for that much snow. Larro

Hadn't heard about all this. That's bad news. Your right it's an early snow.

Seen a map yesterday 50% of the U.S. Had snow cover. Way to early.

17F, probably won't get much colder tonight. Milos has been improving through the day thank goodness. Still limping a lot but getting around. Yeah, Buffalo. Seven dead now they are reporting. That kind of snow onslaught makes the smallest thing a battle and wears a person down to real tired real quick. Good luck to those in that area.

Good to hear your dog is better. Hope she stays pain free.

Thanks. He will be 10 in a month. That's getting on for a large breed dog, they don't have long lives. A few make it to 12, very few to 14 years. The mortality rate starts rising around 8-9 years. As long as he is happy and can get around with just typical old man pains, it's good. He gets a little meloxicam as needed. That's a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory NSAID drug for dogs.
