I just found some LED headlight bulbs in a "T19" size, which is the size/type my B2150 uses for the headlight bulbs.

They aren't cheap, but boast 80 watts. Sure seems like it should be much brighter than the oem 15/15 bulbs in it now.

I had tried upping the bulbs to 25/25 watts but they melted the plastic headlight assembly eventually.

I may try them out.... but the seller does not take return so I am torn.

Here is the ebay link:

Yamaha Grizzly 660 Super White LED Headlights Bulb 80W 2002 2003 2004 2005 2006 | eBay

You may have to copy and paste for it to work..... but let me know what you all think.

Thanks.

I would think that with a little research, you can find them cheaper, and therefore easier to experiment with. I have been looking at auto headlight LED bulbs, which come with drivers, etc., and the prices are even lower at some vendors- usually direct from China, which won't work if you want them in 3 days, but a couple of weeks, no problem. I see lots of choices for LED T-19 bulbs on eBay for around $8 delivered. Let us know how it goes...

Thanks varmint.

I've been looking on ebay and googling for over a week now, and can't locate them anywhere other than a distributor in China who wants a 100-500 minimum order.

I have found other led bulbs on ebay, but nothing that is a T19 like the one I gave a link for.

If you find one, can you post a link?

Thanks !

My bad. I looked again, with your bulb photo in mind, and came up like you, nada. Now I will be looking, and if I find anything, I'll share. I am surprised that a flange base bulb like that is so rare?

I looked to increase my headlights brightness but in the end bought 2 square led work lights that bolted right on to my rops and hooked to the factory wiring. The lights are higher up so they can light up whether I am plowing or blowing snow. They were on Amazon for about the same price as you are looking to spend for the bulbs....just saying.

Hi sandyc.

Thanks for the suggestion.

I have 4 Rigid Dually LED lights that I do attach to the ROPS. But I have to remove them in the summer due to some nasty low hanging branches on the tree line surrounding my property.

They work very well, but I also wanted to increase my regular headlight output for when I don't have the LED work lights attached.

Regards.

You may be on to something there...... That's probably exactly what he did !

It's not so much the $60 bucks for a pair of those bulbs, but he doesn't offer returns in case out to be duds or won't fit properly or whatever.

Yah, I would just mount some LED work lights... they are widely available, cheap, and work great. I have had good luck with the various ones I have installed over the years.
