I want an air powered grease gun to grease the zerks on my CUT with loader.

Price and reviews are all over the map. Seems the reviews on the popular tool sites are either 5's or 1's.

I don't want a 5 gallon or larger roll around. I want an air powered cartridge gun. Will pay for quality.

Let me know what your are happy with.:cool2:

Let me say first that I HATE GREASE GUNS!
When they don't stop putting out they will have grease everywhere and on me! Then there is the stopped up fittings. ARG!
I sell and repair construction equipment.
I have had good luck with the Harbor Freight Air Guns. I didn't like the single pump action.
I had to go to a gun for a 5 gal bucket because one machine that I grease regularly takes about 30 pumps in 2 places.
I bought a used Lincoln used and used it for a few years then the seals started leaking. (I tried contacting them by email, got NO response)
I recently bought a Graco used and am happy with it.
The prices are INSANE on the commercial units!!!

Why an air grease gun ?
Regular grease guns work fine for a fraction of the price for your needs.

I bought an air grease gun at a discount tool place. Worked fine. A couple of years later the hose split. I seem to go through grease guns. I wouldn't say that quality ones are available- it is a low end tool. Good luck with it, I am interested in what you find out.

Have you considered a rechargeable battery operated grease gun? They work good.

I agree on that but I have a couple things that take a whole tube.

I used a cheap air gun for years, when it broke I got the Lincoln with continuous pumping and it works good.

For most greasing where a pump or 2 is need I used an old Lincoln lever gun, fast and reliable and you can grease anywhere.

Maybe if you use a full tube...but still.
The OP talks of a garden tractor

Lincoln Pneumatic, 1162. I have one, works great.

I believe there was an earlier version (1163?) that may have had some issues. The 1162 is current and has had some improvements

The rechargable Lincoln power lubers are excellent too, but are considerably more money than the pneumatic.
