Sure how much liability insurance do you carry and how many assets do you own/have?

Keep it in the barn, I am sure it is not taking up that much room.

How would feel knowing the person you sold the tractor to died or worse has no feeling below his waist because you made $200 selling it.

Really. How could it be his fault if the new owner tipped it over? Sold as is, is just that. The new owner has responsibilities for his own actions. The price would be lower without some of the parts. If he sold it without a steering wheel would it be the sellers fault if the new owner drove into a tree because he couldn't steer?

I'd recommend keeping the parts for the tractor even if you don't use them.

he says it's foldable
:p

I bought a place with about 30 trees that branches were such that you couldn't drive a garden tractor without banging your head. One afternoon later I can drive my cut with folded rops under them all. It makes it much easier and I would say looks better. I would rather have the rops up but that's a nuther issue.

Sure you could sell it, I don't see anything wrong with it, but I'm wondering who would buy a ROPS? I really don't see you getting much for it, it's not like there is a demand for them. I don't know if you'd be able to trade it in though, I'd certainly keep it just for trade in if that's likely.

I don't think it would affect the resale of your tractor, and I wouldn't worry about all the safety BS that people on here talk about.
