So now you are backtracking all your statements because you can't find any proof to back them up. Hilarious. My how your tune has changed in the last few pages.

Not backtracking at all. Show me where I made those statements. Why would I want to defend a statement I didn't make? I will stand behind all I have written. Any questions about what I have written are welcome. Make an exact quote that you disagree with and I will respond.

I think some are upset about aluminum trucks because it will raise the price of aluminum, and they'll be spending more on their aluminum foil hats.

Funny.

I would never wear an aluminum hat knowing that steel foil has much greater resistance to hail and is much cheaper to repair.

I never claimed any "facts" like you did. You guys seem to make the same mistakes over and over. .

I was the one that first used the word "fact". Just pointing it out in case you made a mistake

Then I read about how Ford is spending $10,00 for every dealership body shop to keep repair costs down so the cost to insure these trucks stays at least competitive with steel trucks. So after looking at the information available and comparing it to what folks like you, DP, and Tom have told us I came to a conclusion.
Can you provide some facts to back this up? ;) What Ford actually said is that they "will subsidize 20 percent or up to $10,000 for training and equipment at U.S. dealerships to repair the truck's aluminum panels." They never said they are spending $10,000 for every dealership body shop.
Carry on with the bickering.

Yes you were but you never did post any proof of the "fact". You guys make all sorts of claims like "Ford aluminum panels are stronger than steel panels" or "Ford F-150 aluminum body trucks are the cheapest 1/2 ton truck to insure". Then when asked for proof you never can produce anything legitimate. You answer was "it's a fact" and DP's answer was "well my insurance agent said so". Neither of those prove anything and are likely just things you made up. You would think you might have figured this out by now but the same thing still keep repeating itself. I'm sure today will be no different.

You keep saying that. All I ask is for you to give me ONE example because I went back and couldn't find anything. This is your opportunity to hit a home run and totally redeem yourself.

Did he just say "repeating itself"?

Someone needs to help him out of this viscous loop.
