Ah, yes I know the hydraulic block under there but I would just prefer to purchase the kit for everything. It will used to power more things than a hyd motor in the future.

Edward,
Before you put down your money on a SCV kit, does the tractor's main implement pump match up with the hyd motor? Pump gpm@psi => motor gpm@psi?

If the tractor has enough capacity for your application, you'll need a valve body that supports "continuous flow" and is an open center valve to tie into the tractor hyd system.

As kennyd mentioned Fitrite can likely help you out.

If your going to run a hydraulic motor maybe a power beyond kit would be more suitable. Power beyond is used for backhoes and could also be used for hydraulic motors but you would need to add a way to control the motor.

Yup, he could plumb in a series of stackable valves from a power beyond circuit. But, the tractors hyd system might not have enough capacity for his hydraulic motor to work properly.

So, the next step might be a pto powered external mounted pump. Or, he could still go with tractor SCV's AND a pto pump.

What size hyd motor are you trying to run?

Here is your hyd data.

Hydraulics:
Type: open center
Capacity: 6.8 gal [25.7 L] (gear)
8.8 gal [33.3 L] (hydro)
Pressure: 2500 psi [172.4 bar]
Valves: 3 optional
Pump flow: 9.9 gpm [37.5 lpm]
Total flow: 14.7 gpm [55.6 lpm]
Steering flow: 4.8 gpm [18.2 lpm]

You could add say a three spool valve in the back with float for T-N-T, and a detent motor spool for the hyd motor.

The third scv is available from JD. part #LVBM18820. my dealer list it for $280.50.

You need to have the 1st and 2nd for that that kit to work, it does NOT include a valve. The Mid-SCV kit actually has three valves, #1 and #2 are for the FEL, and that kit includes the lever, hardlines, ect. to operate the 3rd.
