3-Point Hitch Help,,

Hi,
I'm currently looking after my employers estate and using his Massey TE20 tractor to pull a trailer. The problem I have is that I cannot lower the tow bar to hook up the trailer. I can't remember how I was shown to lower it.
Mad I know but can anyone help??

When you are sitting on the tractor,look to right side, do you see a half moon looking thing with nob,slide that thing down that will drop your three point.It has been many years since i had mine but i think i have that right.If this doesnt fix your problem send pictures.

Yep the half moon handle is there and when I slide it down the three point doesn't go down??

you might need the weight to take it down

I take a try and guess that you have a T-boom between linkage and top link with 2 struts down to drawbar? If tractor is not converted at one time then it is the original solution. On T-boom should be a button to be pressed or a lever to twist / lift depending on the style T-boom you have.

Thank you for your suggestions. Yes it has a T-boom, which is in the middle of the 2 struts. I've pulled it and twisted it but nothing budges!
