Cab, 12x12 shuttle and self-leveling loader?

My Brother's NH 115 extendahoe uses joysticks and a foot treadle to extend.

I was trying to find a few picture to post. Here is a three and four stick model. I wanted to put a picture of our newer case with the joystick controls. It is a pretty nice rig. I guess if it every dries up so we can go back to work I'll see if I can't get one.

With it being Christmas, I figure that it's a good time to dream about my next tractor, not that I have any complaints with my B3300. My wife often talks about getting another dog (we already have 3) and my response is sure, when I get to have a second tractor......

Must have list:
Factory cab
12x12 shuttle trans (or greater, just don't want a 9x9)
Mechanical self-leveling loader with decent lift capacity
Aftermarket loaders are acceptable and easy to add to a good tractor that doesn't have one
Not likely new but don't want ancient either
Brand not really important but JD has a slight edge

As small as I can find meeting the above criteria.

Opinions?

Farm Boy, remember that there is no HST (Harmonized Sales Tax) on new tractors with 60 PTO horsepower and up. That's 13% savings! Used machines are subject to HST unless you have a company for the HSt to flow through. (A company remits the difference in between the HST it collects and the HST it spends to the government, thus flowing through the company). Therefore a new LS 7010 might be cheaper than a backhoe or another used tractor.

Thanks Danny, you make a good point. I'd heard of that before but had forgotten about it. Is that deal not only for registered farmers though?

I like the LS tractors but as I'd mentioned earlier, the dealers around me all suck and I have no confidence they'll be around for the long haul. How do you get parts with no dealer support? Its too bad the aftermarket for tractor parts isn't a bit more accessible. Even things as simple as filters?

Anyone got any good suggestions how to get parts without a dealer?

There is at least one place that does online sales of LS parts....maybe two. I only had to order a couple of small pars from them, but they had decent prices, and the parts shipped direct from the LS warehouse.

The program is for the tractor and not registered farmers. I guess the government figures on ly farmers or companies will buy tractors that big?

Seems reasonable. Why bother with charging the tax in the first place when its going to be refunded anyway. That's got to be about the only time out government makes even the slightest bit of sense

Looked into this quickly today. My closest LS dealer has a P7040 on their website with a list price of $75k and a sale price of $60k (yes this is a much larger machine than the 7010 but the price was easier to find). On the JD and Kubota build and price pages, I'd be looking north of $40k plus loader and other options totaling over 50k. 40 or 50 grand will buy a really nice backhoe. On the other side, I saw a listing for a 2006 MF 5455 with 1100 hrs for $18,750, just needs a loader

I didn't think you could get a hydraulic shuttle shift transmission in the P7010? I hope I'm wrong, but if that's the case I wouldn't even consider it if I were you.

I think you're right. I think you have to move up to the P7040 to get the hydraulic shuttle.
