Your floor is looking pretty nice in those stair pics. Hope you got everything thawed out and have a wonderful New Years.

Winter always has a way of sneaking up on us all. We also have a camper that has to be winterized, wood that has to be busted, and other various thing that must be done before it shows it's nasty face. Sometimes we are prepared but most of the time we are playing catch up!! The house is coming along nicely considering the change in the weather..... Keep up the good work!

Looks fantastic! Have you decided on a type/design for the banisters?

I want to make something original, like out of Manzanita or something, but the County would never pass it. Do I'll put up the cheapest spindles I can find and tear it down right after I get the CO. :)

Mr. Fuller The weather men are telling of snow and cool weather in your area.
Winter of 61/62 it was so cold the Williams water system froze and water had to be hauled in from Flagstaff by railroad car.until repaired.
We had to bundle our kids next to the stove in living room .and shut off rest of house .
69 at Seligman waited 10 days for a bump on parking lot to show where our car was parked. Lot of snow that year.
Your house looks good trust the hearing system works well also.

Yep Ken, I remember the winter of '48-'49 well. I was born that year. Man, it got cold. Heheeheheheheee, couldn't resist, ye just got me old brain to working, I think. Ye stories of cold just reminded me of that old fashioned talk...

Oh well, Bo, ye place is coming right along. That rascal ought to be plenty warm in those rough winters when ye cain't take an outside leak because... oh, y'all know.

Mac Lawn I know it is a age difference. Never even told Bo about having to be towed up a mountain road to communication site by dozer cross country because could not see road. Or travel between Kingman to Seligman when road was closed had to show state police had chains and extra fuel 55 gal. oil and spare chains. Also carried a jungle lunch with blankets.
The Northern Ariz. weather can be brutal some times.
Now could tell you about the Jeep Sta. Wagon that blizzard was so strong the engine air cleaner filled with snow and stalled the engine. Ye Haa Or twisted the drive shaft off pushing snow hood deep but this was a different year. And in N.Mexico.

Mr. Fuller Your place looks good and ask your rancher friends of past history of weather events.

I now live in a area where a 1/2 inch of snow keeps me home and like today it is 34 deg. and weather man is flashing alerts of possible snow and could be some ice so stay home inside and be careful .

So I sit in the easy chair and read TBN let the world go by with out me .
