I could not help but notice the "cat fud" box.

Now is it named that in honor of the Gary Larson cartoon of the dog misspelling cat food "cat fud" on a sign to entice the kitty to go into an open door on the dryer? Do you remember this cartoon?

OK, spent the morning getting the lights installed. I have 2 facing forward and one facing the rear. There was an unused connector under the left fender that I believe was intended for a work light. I tapped into that and since it is connected to the ignition switch the lights will only work when the key is on which is what I wanted. I mounted the switch near the hydro controls between the seat and the left fender. I have never folded the ROPS down before, but I believe there is enough slack in the wiring that I can fold it if necessary.

Once it is dark, I'll see how they work and if they need to be aimed differently. So far, so good!

Yes, I used some 1" square tubes and connected them to the ROPs with square U bolts. Then drilled holes in the tubes to connect the brackets that came with the lights (had to get longer bolts that would extend through the tube).

27 watts @12volts is 2.25 amps per light.

This simple answer is yes. We are talking about DC circuits here. AC circuits can be a little trickier if dealing with inductance or capacitance. If you don't understand that, don't worry, most people don't.
