I burn furnace heating oil here, it is just lo-sulphur diesel. costs 68 cents per liter or 2.62 per Us Gallon (in Canadian dollars) about 2.10 US at current bank rate. It is illegal to do this (red stuff), but

Paid $2.09 a gallon when I fuel my truck yesterday. On road, not red. Red would have been $1.68. Commercial discounts are great things.

In NW Ohio, diesel varies from $2.799 to 3.799, a dollar spread. Most places are around 3.299. Regular is $1.629 to 2.299, most in the $1.80 range.

In North Bay, ON last Monday I paid $4.12/us gallon for high test gas.
Regular was going for $3.51/us gallon.
Last time I bought red fuel was in early November and it was going for $4.356/us gallon

In Prince George BC, yesterday I paid $1.239/litre or $4.95 per US gallon for diesel fuel - prices in Canadian money.

Yeah, Canada does love it's taxes on fuel. Fuel is a global price commodity, so we know why Canada has high fuel prices.
