Once USA and Europe mandated ULSD, prices for diesel started creeping up because US has higher refining capacity for the ULSD and US has been exporting a high volume of it. If Europe would get off their behinds and and update their refineries the price gap would be diminished but, don't see that happening anytime soon.
In mid 1990's diesel was always cheaper than gasoline. I was paying about $0.85 / gallon for red diesel then, and about same for propane.

Prices continue to fall .......

I'm all for the lower prices and still believe no gallon of gas is worth over a buck. However ... I am concerned the continued fall will have detrimental effects on our increased production, as smalls begin to close their wells. I'm hoping things settle down around 1.75.

87 is 2.18/gal and diesel is 3.69 gal in Mid Michigan.

$2.13 for regular unleaded milford when i filled up the truck and $3.19 for diesel Highland MI . The only advantage of our cruze diesel over the eco manual is that it has a 700-800 mile range versus 450 editc and the 280 lb ft of torque in overboost makes it way more fun to drive.

Southern middle Tennessee gas prices are $2 per gallon. Diesel is $2.79 and offroad diesel is $2.39 picked
up at distributor. Price drop seems to be slowing down.

About $1.95 for gas and $3.45 for diesel here in Indiana today.
