Rear Blade Box Blade vs. Grader Blade

The everything attachment is only 575 lbs for $400 more you can buy a Farm King that's 1300 lbs with cylinders on ebay
Wow, that's a great deal. That would have to be the 100 series to be that heavy. The only ones I could find on ebay are nearly double the cost of the EA blade, do not include any cylinders, and shipping is extra. Not a fair comparison though, since those 100 series are cat 2-3. Monsters though. Do you have a link to that one you referenced? Thanks.

Looks like the 2k one sold but this is one for a little more. All I can say is for 40 years my dad and I have used the TSC or king cutter type implements and I had the opportunity to purchase a heavy duty blade and yes it cost four times more than a standard 6' blade. I have religion on this when I say there is no comparison in control over the two blades the weight of the blade and no flex it is a 1/2" x 6 cutting edge so it doesn't walk behind the tractor it just grades. I will not look at purchases of implements the same again.

I agree, these are in a much better class. Depends on how much you want to spend, and where you draw the line. This one is 969# for $2400, plus shipping, and plus cylinders (not that I need them). I can get by with King Kutter implements as long as they are not ground engaging. I know my old Ford industrial blade is built much better than the KK stuff, and I have to be a little careful with that so I don't twist something. I was hoping you found a deal I had missed on there. I'll keep looking though. Thank you.

The killer deals on the "real" heavy duty blades are out there, few and far between though. If you are willing to wait for possibly years or even never, then the deal on stuff may appear, or not. All depends on your "wants" vs "needs". ;)
