Good morning.

Our grass is still green, though there is snow on the hills in the distance.
It's just cold enough to freeze the things you don't want frozen, not cold enough to freeze the things you do want, like mud.

At least it was good to wake up and find that all is well with the world.
Never mind that Kim Jong is going nuclear again, in TBN land no one went to jail and no one got buried with their own backhoe. Happy days.

Cab tractors are a must. Heck in the summer time just the lack of bugs down my throat alone is worth it. But that is a long way off for us. Summer, that is.

33 this morning and headed to 38 today. Some places are talking snow over the weekend and others are saying dry. Don't really like this weather pattern. It's just not wet enough for this time of the year and not freezing up either. I know I was growling about feeding hay in the mud but normally we freeze up over night and the mud is a non issue till March. Anybody else thinking the same way?

Also noticed the ice cover on the Great Lakes. As of January 16 it was only .5% behind the same day last year at 24%.

So maybe you guys up north aren't seeing the same pattern I am.

Poured first cup of coffee. 58° with rain this morning. Heading to 61° with more rain and thunder storms all day. Been raining all night. Like the sound of rain hitting motorhome roof. So I stayed in bed this morning. No patio sitting today.

Good morning! 49˚ cloudy. The summer weather went back into hibernation as another cool front blew in yesterday evening.

Still fixing things - the gate in now working with a new remote receiver installed. The old one could not house a mouse and stay reliable, and I think it got wet when I was working on the wiring the other week and it started to rain.

My electric wall mounted pressure washer will not start but it is under warranty. I found a burned wire in the control box so now I have to deal with the manufacturer.

Ron, I bet that is the 3 pt hitch in the bucket because the BH is installed.

Good Afternoon. 1310, sunny, 61F with 41% humidity. Forecast high of 59F {?} with 0% chance of rain this afternoon, and a low of 33 tonight.

A late start for me this morning. I'm re-reading all the Louis L'Amour novels and I started Bendigo Shafter last night after supper. A little after 0400 I turned off my lamp, 20 pages from the end. If I had known I couldn't finish it, I could have stopped at midnight or 0100 and got a good night's sleep. I just wrapped up breakfast, so I guess I'll hit the couch and finish it. I only have one left here at the house. It will have to last me until I go into work in the morning. I may be forced to go up to my library and read something else.

I thought the wind forecast was a phony earlier when it was a nice calm morning. Now we are about to blow away. The wind brought in some surprise snow flurries but the temps are about 40, so no sticky.

Trying to make TurboTax do something new for my taxes for the first time...frustrating.
