No one is holding a gun to the employee's head and forcing them to work. If they can do better than Wal-Mart, then they're free to apply elsewhere.

Perhaps this is the justification for the irrational, Pavlovian, anti-Walmart rants some people post in any thread, on any forum when the W-word is used.

Off the soap box. This was about NAPA.

I know several people who work at Walmart and they are very happy with their wages and benefits as an employee... Granted, they aren't new hires but they say that if you stay past the trial period its well worth working there.

I will be glad when they all disappear, not hard to do either. Don't shop there, and hope the employees get fed up and try to bring a union in. They closed a store in Quebec because the employees get tired of bring treated like garbage and called a union. That scared Walmart big time, they closed the store.

they can unionize where they want if they want. that said unions are not allowed to have forced membership here in this state like other states.
