Ice chains work wonders in any ground condition. They are agressive and will easily mark concrete if not well cured.

There is considerable variation in the hardness of concrete floors. Depends on how it was troweled, cure time, etc. Some power-troweled floors have very hard surfaces.

Along with tractor weight and chain type, this is probably the most comprehensive answer here. Any concern can easily be mitigated with floor treatments such as previously described allowing you to get any type chain you desire.

Yep. My shop concrete is very hard. But it don't matter to a set of ice chains. They'll mark anything they are driven over. After all, that's their intended purpose.
