Good afternoon guys, ooops....MORNING !!! 25 degrees here, just spent an hour slapping on joint compound...one of the home repair tasks I HATE.

We finalized our guest list for the wedding and reception yesterday...sorry but nobody from TBN is on it unless you hacked the list...the magic words on the invitation are "Open bar from noon to 2 pm..." but we cut the list off at 60 people....:laughing: sorry to discourage the multitudes who want free booze and prime rib....

Have really enjoyed reading the comments on my thread about "Are you lucky if you have a secure retirement" because of all the half-thousand-plus threads I have started on TBN this one is my favorite.

66°F and no rain last 24 hours.

Easy day yesterday. Another trailer load of sand for my driveway project and another bit of mowing. More mowing today most likely.

17 with plenty of wind,going down to -4 with a chance of Snow flurries.I plowed the driveway and notice the frame where it attaches to the axle was moving around,here I lost the nut where she bolts up.I will have to take care of that tomorrow.

For winter evening entertainment we are streaming The Fall, a BBC catch a serial killer series located in Belfast/N. Ireland. Gillian Anderson (X-Files) is pretty good in it.

Good evening all. 27F and overcast this morning. With a cold front forecast to pass through went for a ride this morning. Cold front passed through about 10:30 with wind shift and temps quit rising for the day. high topped out about 41F 15F for the low tonight. No days above 40F in the 10 day forecast, and 3-5 in snow forecast for Monday. Fireplace is burning again, woodpile is low and nothing to split :thumbdown:

Good Evening. 2220, clear, 42F with 95% humidity. Forecast low is 41F with 0% chance of rain tonight, and a high of 62F tomorrow. Other than quickly posting my supper pictures on WFS?????, this is the first time I've logged on today. Been super busy all day long. I got my 6000 longleaf seedlings this afternoon. But mine and my BIL's schedule isn't working out at all as far as finding time to start planting. It looks like Tuesday is when we will get started. I may try to dibble a few in the morning in a little two acre rough that had grown up in oaks when we stopped haying it a few years back. Luckily we have some cooler weather on the way. It is forecast to be 26F tomorrow night. The trees will be alright as long as it stays cool.

Margie and I went out to eat after she got off work tonight. Since the restaurant is right next to the walking path {rails to trails} we took a nice 25 minute walk before we ate. {this is just a couple of blocks off Blountstown's main drag.

Perhaps it helped just a tad that there were quite a few beautiful women who were just determined to run around topless.

I'm not an overly religious man, but I am thankful that out of all the choices he had, the Good Lord decided to make us mammals.

After work, I'll do one last clearing of the drive with the snow blower, then dismount it from the 4400. Dealer picks up the 4400 tomorrow.
