When does it start to warm up were you live?

This morning, the local weather guy says a couple more weeks of cold and then, after that into the 50ish to 60's for the next few weeks. So I've got that to look forward to. Things are not going the way I planned for warm up.

Watertown,New York(60 miles south) was low for the nation yesterday at -36 F,my weather station pegged at just -20.4F.............nasty.

Weather forecast in central NC is calling for 0 F Friday morning. It will be the lowest local temperature in many years. Normally by mid-March spring is well underway, I hope it comes on time this year because I am tired of the cold!

OK, it's a deal but you have to move here to get it. Just think, sunny and warm soon, pleasantly not too hot in the summer and you won't have to lose at football every year. Surely that sounds appealing?

It's different if you live central or central south part of the state. Most here aren't exactly sure where Toledo is. Many counties are all farm, corn and soybeans and the things that surround it 24/7. For me, I was born in a different state, lived decades in northern New England and snuggled in here like a bug in a rug. Before long you'll be wearing a necklace of buckeyes and whistling "Hang On Sloopy". I can see it now.

And again, you won't have to suffer the constant humiliation of getting whipped at football every year. Your license plate could be "BUCK-i". Yeah, that works.

I think yesterday (3 / 1 ) was the official first day of spring.

2 days ago I noticed my purple leaf plum was budding out. Did that last year then we had a freeze & lost them.
Ocatilla has 1 little flower on it longest top branch,

Near perfect weather, mid 40's in early AM, high 70's in the PM. Even some low 80's.

We better get back to warm pretty soon. June 21st, and the longest daylight hours in a day is fast approaching and most of us have plenty of bottled up chores to do outside. None of us are getting any younger and time is fleeting.
