Looking to put chains on my EMax 25, just wondered what is the best chains? I searched the net and didn't find anything to match my tire size. Rear tires are 27x12.5-15

while not listed specificly, anything that is close to the size but larger will work. You can either take a link out or just use tensioners (as you should use them anyway)

Not sure which tire you have, but i have the Ind tire and i had to remove the tensioners from my chains. They would hold the chain up inbetween the lug of the tire, causing snow to cake in/around the chain defeating the purpose. In another thread a member suggested i try to remove the tensioners and let the chains fall naturally to the ground. This improved my traction DRASTICALLY.

Also, i know you've already ordered... but 2link chains are the way to go.

I also used the 29-12-15 size chain for my Max25

I did order the 2 link chains. Thanks for the info on the tensioners. I would really like to get a blade for the front of my EMax and I could get some good weight on the back.

I find that weight on the Max provides more traction than anything else. Of course chains are a huge help.

I see you're in Kentucky, so unsure if you see alot of snow down your way. Normally I would suggest a snow-blower vs the blade, but that's all dependent on the amount of snow you get per storm, and the frequency. You can also consider a rear 3pt blade for snow removal, that's what i used my first season. Nice because it's dual purpose come summer, and you get to leave your bucket on. :2cents:
