I am considering installing a soft cab on my BX 24. However, the fact that the radiator fan pulls the air AWAY from the operator's feet (and toward the engine) would seem to defeat the intent.

I was wondering if anyone offers a fan that reverses the air flow to PUSH it through the radiator (towards the operator's feet). I know that this would not be good for the battery during warm weather, but it seems like it would be easy enough to change the fan between summer and winter.

Any advice?

Your choices are going to be tapping into the anti-freeze line, setting up an electric heater or sourcing a very small tent-type heater that runs on a small propane cylinder.

Has anyone replaced the belt driven fan with an electric fan off an automotive radiator? If I did that, perhaps I could just reverse the polarity to change the air direction when warm weather returns.

I would be concerned about exhaust fumes with the fan blowing air into the cab.

I have the typical electrical heater and does ok, but the big thing is being in a cab out of the wind. i love it now!

I don't have a cab but was thinking if putting a heat pad inside my seat, one could also install a snowmobile type cord system where you could buy heated gloves jackets boots ect. I would be happy in a cab with the wind off of me

The Curtis cab comes with a vinyl cloth cover that goes over the grate in the operator station to prevent the air from being pulled out of the cab by the radiator fan. Take it off when the weather warms up. It helps a lot.

I tried the electric heater it does not put out enough BTU to do anything. Go with the heater that connects to the engine, more then enough heat. Check EBay that is where I got mine. Heck if you pay for postage I will send you the electric heater I tried for free!
