"but the doors come off and the windows can, but I doubt I remove the windows."
That's my main concern, for I have areas with low limbs/branches and once the cab on I really don't want to remove it...winter cold w/howling winds and mowing fields finding bee hives cab sure would be nice tho.

we woke up yesterday to 9 degrees. It went to 49!!! The lowest temp showing for the next 10 days is 32. A whole lot of snow left here yesterday, and since they are talking maybe near 60 two days, we might knock it back and be able to see some green by St. Paddy's day!!

Nope, not bragging, but....neener, neener, neener!

Soon, Mark will have to take his wife outside and show her the damage his snow plow guy did before he quit, which is why he had to have his own tractor! Can't wait.

Getting Old timers disease mebbe..No short term memory..Did we have some snow? Can't remember that!

But I now have a Kubota with a blower, for some reason, and a crushed shelter.:muttering:

That's a great thought. Hope Mark see's it before the snow melts at the corner of the garage.

I must be becoming an expert. I successfully excavated the snow in front of my shed WITHOUT BREAKING ANYTHING!! Well, I didn't break much anyway. The doors don't look like they're hanging quite like they used to. I wonder if that was caused by the doors bending as I scooped out the snow in front of them? Jeez, they didn't seem to bend all that much.

I (sort of) fixed the wood shed post today. I squared off both ends with a chain saw, then used 2X4 pieces to fill the gap. Then I packed snow in all around the pieces to hide the gap. :) Roof bow almost gone. Note how much Big Red took out of the wood. For the astute observer, you are right - I hit the post more than once (he said as he hangs his head in shame).

I may be in for real trouble this week. It's gonna be warm most of the week - as in above freezing for highs. It's the garage siding I'm most worried about. The snow perfectly covers it now but that's not going to last long. And that's going to be expensive to fix. Maybe I can go to my insurance company and put in a claim for damage due to 'natural disaster'. Or stupidity.

Yes sir, I'm really getting the hang of this thing. Anybody need any advice, just ask!

-Mark (soon-to-be-homeless, have tractor, will work for insurance)

You know, I've done a lot of things in my life that scares a lot of people, lineman, police officer, corrections officer, didn't really bother me all that much. But I just had a thought that sends chills down my spine.........

Mark - considering your performance with a tractor......your wife LETS YOU USE A CHAINSAW???????

Is there another forum you've been on? How many fingers are ON your hand?

Inquiring minds need to know!

I guess what you are telling us is that you are too poor to pay attention. You should have a front mount snow blower.

I was out cleaning off the paved lane a bit yesterday (rich neighbor with a truck plow mostly does it, but I help) and stopped to admire the view. The lane passes over a culvert, with our little stream below.
