That's a ridiculous price for a filter, counterfeit or genuine.

I agree, but there is no way around it. I don't want to jeopardize any warranty issues. This is the first 50 hour service.

I think the title of this thread should be Aftermarket Filters, not Counterfeit. As stated above, Donaldson is a 100 year old company.....Baldwin has been making filters since 1936....and Fleetguard, started in 1987 is not as old, but is a division of Cummins Engine, and come as OEM filter on many very large, and very expensive, diesel engines. Now, how about our tractors?......Daedong started in 1947, but didn't make a tractor until 1968, and Kioti wasn't introduced here until 1993.

What I'm saying is these filters are made by well established, quality oriented companies....not some fly by night, counterfeit producer.

Don't know about that, I started this thread, and the filter in question is a question. It is supposed to be a t4125-38021 daedong, instead it is a "red filter with no lettering or markings"

I cannot figure WHY folks buy expensive tractors and then CHEAP OUT on buying QUALITY FILTERS from there local supporting dealers?If we do not support our Kioti dealers for parts and service that we need how long are they going to stay in business ? When the local Kioti dealer goes out of business because of lack of support we will ***** and complain.

I guess you could have bought green or the other orange color for $10,000 more verses the Kioti.IMHO sell your tractor that should resolve your filter buying problems.Being a kubota owner also have you ever priced super UDT hydro fluid?Hang on to your wallet $55 per gallon.I guess I need to sell them,stinking dealers?
