Any Allstate customers using "Drive Wise" ?

I'm not an allstate customer. But no I don't and won't use one of those devices. I don't like an insurance agency spying on me.

My dad put my truck and me on his insurance when I started driving and when he gave the pickup to me on my 18th Birthday.

Well I started driving when I was 16 and that's when I got my learners permit in Arkansas.

I haven't had any accidents since I got my learners permit. Been driving for 11 years now without a single accident and my insurance rates have been dropping. They've gave me discounts for no accidents. And a bonus they give me discounts for being on the same policy as my dad who has many vehicles insured with them.

We're with State Farm and the rates are pretty reasonable. I would never install one of those doo hickies in my vehicle. It'd probably make me have an accident then my rates would go up and not down.

Oh and as much as I try too. MY dad WILL NOT let me give him a penny for my insurance on my truck. He INSISTS on paying for it. lol

When I try to give him money for it. He tells me I do a lot for him and my mom. I told him I'm not expecting pay for the things I do for them. I'd help them out anyway. I told him I love helping them out.

Then he said. I love helping you out too. "even if you're grown" you're still my son and I'll always be there for you.

And I'll always be there for them.

Somebodies always watching ... Big brother sees all!

They probably aren't spying on anyone. You give them consent when you agree to put the device in your car and you probably give them consent to inspect your property when you purchase their insurance.

I agree with Chad. There is no doubt in my mind that those devices record where you go and when you go there.

Our government is already putting cameras all over the place that read your plate numbers and tracks you. They forced the cell companies to provide them with geo location information on people. They forced Google, Microsoft and other companies to implement things to provide them with data on your internet use.

They want to put chips on your credit cards so they can track everything you buy.

Its getting to be a sick world. We need a revolution!

Heck the other night ... I think it was Wednesday just after I attended my substance abuse class .... a gang tried some random violence on me ... I told them I'd scream domestic abuse ... then I jumped in my vehicle and raced off ... DriveWise never recorded the rapid acceleration !!!
