After a cool day yesterday it warmed up today to 75F and lots of sunshine. Gonna tear down some more old plaster from the walls in the house and haul it to the community dumpster.

Actually that to me is one of the heights of personal freedom to just get off your tractor and take a whiz, because there isn't anyone within sight.

My sewer line is currently clogged in my house so If I'm not at my parents place I just step outside between my camper and house and take a quick whiz there.

Sometimes if I'm coming back from town and need to pee really bad I turn off on a back "dirt road" and take a whiz there.

When you said yesterday you were going to hang a "Red swing" I wondered what kind of swing that was (remember I'm still trying to learn US English). Thought it may be an adventurous rope swing for Red Necks. Anyway, not wanting to show my ignorance too early, I was waiting for the picture.
Now I see ... :duh:

82˚ bright sun. I'm putting in a 6v (tiny) solar panel to maintain a charge to keep my 1947 Farmall's 6V battery charged. The meter says it putting out 10.3V.

33F as the sun goes down. Mid-teens tonight. It didn't turn sunny until late afternoon and not a great outside day all in all, stayed below 40F.

I fired up the stove this morning too. I will fire it again this evening probably.

Sharon and Sira are at a dog show this weekend. Sharon called this afternoon all excited because Sira took Best Of Opposite. Best of Show almost always goes to a male dog, just the way it is. So, it was a nice day for the girls of the family. I thought Sira would do well. She is in pretty good form now that she has had her last growth at 3+ years old. Took a while for her body to catch up with her muzzle size following her previous growth spurt.

Does best of opposite = worst of same?

No. In a large show the adult dogs are judged in separate male and female groups by their class. Their class is based on age and previous show points earned. Each class has a winning dog. The best of show is selected from all class winners. Best of opposite is the best dog from all classes that is the opposite sex of the best of show dog.

Females don't often get best of show, so a best of opposite is usually as good as can be expected if you have a female dog. There is a Winner's B*tch -- best female dog from all classes of females, that is usually the female dog that will be the best of opposite.

Thanks guys. It's Sharon's hobby so I don't take much credit. I'm just happy that she is happy. Might be a good time to talk about new tractors if we weren't planning on a new car this year.
