Snow Attachments gravel in the lawn no problem

FYI the rubble paddle version of these are all the same, regardless of brand. Shindaiwa holds the patent and licenses the design to Stihl and Husqvarna. Shindaiwa and Echo are owned by the same parent company. The rubber paddles hold up great, under non-commercial use they'll last for many years.

I'm surprised an innovative TBN'er has not converted an old mm or 3ph mower deck etc. into something similar...

Thanks for the information. I have been considering a Stihl power broom for years- after all of your reviews, it sounds like it would be worthwhile. I don't want to spend the money, but maybe I should treat myself after 40 years of raking. Hearing my father say "you boys better rake that ditch" was one the more traumatic experiences of my childhood!

Its a lot cheaper than shoulder surgery, actually probably way cheaper than your deductible for it as well. Like said the kombi motor has quite a few attachments. Save some money by using the kombi motor with as many attachments as possible. The trimmer is the other obvious attachment. We only use our power broom for the spring time either but there is no way in **** i'll ever rake gravel again. Even the local rental place rents them out, that's only like 50$ for like 4 hours. Still way beyond worth it.

I'm pretty well set for trimmers, but I could definitely use a pole saw- I see that is an attachment as well. Off to the dealers tomorrow I think- still a week away from clean up.

You can put the gravel back with a strong leaf blower. You wouldn't think so but it does a great job and is really quick.

Been using a 16 gal. shop vac for about 4 years now. maybe not the fastest, but better than a rake.

Thanks for the tip. Tried that technique couple days ago. It was slow going but works great for a relatively small area.

I just used the shop vac earlier this week to get all my gravel picked out of the lawn. Not sure which would be faster.

A couple years back I rented a power rotary paddle sweeper for a weekend (why buy something that gets used once a year?). I have a 480' gravel driveway and that rotary sweeper thing is heavy! After about 45 min I had to give it a rest and finish the job with a hand rake. I ended up firing the plowman and getting a snowblower attachment...since then much improved driveway snow removal and no gravel cleanup in the spring.

Rented one this past weekend. It was a "RedMax" Gz25N made by Komatsu Zenoah. Obviously a Japanese brand, but gosh that has to be a rate tool over here.
