This weekend I had time to work on the tractor some more.. I decided to put the old valve back on, so I could do tractor work as I needed to to. However, after swapping the old valve back on, the 3pt still was not working ! So I pulled the 3pt control valve and disassembled the entire thing, and I ended up finding debris logged in the unloading check valve.. and It was not able to seat/close. I got it back together and the 3pt was working again. I then, swapped the new loader valve back on(by now I was pretty quick at swapping hoses around). I plumbed the new valve this way, with no pyb plug in, c port plugged off, outlet to the t port of the valve. This was the only way the font loader would work properly.
I'm not knowledgeable about hydraulic systems, so I dont know what you guys are talking about, whether I need a 3rd hose or not, but if I do need it, I want it. How would I hook it up ? Put the pyb plug in, and plumb a new hose from c port to the tank of my tractor somewhere(not to the 3pt control valve) ?
The reason I put a new loader valve on the tractor was because the front loader was slowly loosing its pressure and dropping. Now with the new valve, its better, but the bucket is still loosing pressure. I guess the rams need to be rebuilt. The old valve was not leaking(out visually, but maybe internally). I dont think the old valve or loader was factory..
Heres a pic of the tractor working..
