Mahindra mpower 75
I just purchased the mahindra mpower 75 and want a root grapple. The dealer still has the tractor installing a third function valve for a grapple. This particular dealer also sales the Mahindra grapples in which I'm leaning toward buying. I just was looking for some input (likes/dislikes) from people who own Mahindra root grapples. Thanks

I'm sure that the Mahindra grapple will be fine. Very similar to the grapple that I use on my Mahindra 7520. You may want to shop price though. There are a lot of different ones to choose from. Shouldn't be more than $2000 in my opinion.

Good luck with all the new equipment.

The grapple they had at the Mahindra dealer when I picked up my disk harrow seemed well made. It seemed to have many of the "features" you see touted online about others built in. As long as the price was in line with others I'd have no worries about buying one to use.

Right. Any big brand like Mahindra is typically only going to put their name on a quality product. However, still curious who makes them.

Thank you for your replies. The grapple and third function valve installed is 3300. MtnViewRanch the grapple looks very similar to yours. I have a neighbor that has a grapple he bought from a place in Beaumont,TX that's galvanized and it seems to be a really well built grapple. He loves his. Anyway this grapple I'm looking at looks exactly like his but it's black with mahindra stickers on it. I think it should be a fine grapple.

It sure sounds like it is nice. We can't wait for pictures of it on the 75

This is a fair price installed if it is a true 3rd function. If it is a diverter system, then it seems a bit high to me. Any chance that you would want to save about $500 and do this yourself? If you look at the Mahindra grapple, the lower tines are notched, why I'm not sure. This would concern me, but it probably would be fine. You need to be careful about what attachments and implements you get. Your tractor is heavier than most of that HP size and it is easy to destroy things without being very carful.

Good luck with everything and please post pictures once you get it.

I'll try to get pictures as soon as possible. I'm not sure if I know the difference between a true third function and a diverter valve. I believe the diverter would divert the pressure away from one of my rear remotes. Is this the diverter valve you are referring to? The tractor does have two sets of rear remotes but I will be calling them tomorrow to find out for sure. Thanks for the heads up. The only other implement I purchased with the tractor so far is a Woods BB720X cutter. They was trying to sale me the lighter 6' cutter but I insisted on this one.
