Kubota Kommander or Hustler Fastrak

I wanted a Hustler flip-up Raptor but they won't be here till August.

Next top two Hustler Fastrak or Kubota Kommander. Both priced about the same, both 54". Both have the same transmission Hydro-grear ZT3100. Fastrack has 23hp Kawasaki, Kommander 25hp Kohler made for Kubota. Both have 22" rear tires (Hustler has wider front). Both have 8mph speed. Both have a 4 year warranty. Suggestions?

I had a Hustler FasTrak 54" for 4 years and really liked it.
My dad has it now (for the past couple years) and he loves it.
I upsized to a Hustler Super Z.
Sorry but I am not familiar with the Kubota Kommander,

If the Kubota deck is easier to clean, I would prefer the Kubota.

We went with the Hustler FasTrak 54" 23hp Kawasaki after test driving both. My wife like the responsiveness of the steering and the seat and I like the smoother motor and the seat.
Both of these models are the top model in the residential class of Kubota and Hustler and are price comparably.
Other factors:
I did like Kubota's 4 year 300 hour warranty which includes the motor. +
Hustler's warranty is 4 year 400 hours but the motor is only 3 years. -
I liked Hustler's foldable ROPS compared to Kubota's stationary ROPS
Hustler dealer was 30 miles closer.
Hustler's front wheels were wider - better on my sandy yard.
Hustler has a fuel gauge, Kubota has a sight window.
Kubota is orange + a plus.
Kubota had a parking brake, Hustlers brake was in the handle position.
Kubota had lights, but I have never have, nor plan to mow in the dark.
Everything else was about equal.

I bought the kubota Kommander, My neighbor has a Hustler and side by side there is not that much different in the pair. For me the main reason I went with Kubota is the dealer is a close friend. ....and this is new Kubota #5

To me the new 2015 FasTrak seemed to have a larger frame. The 5 year old FasTrak that DK35vince has a picture of almost seems the size of the Raptor now. Anyway here is the pic after 2 hours of mowing. It is living up to my expectations.

That seat is one feature that separated it from the Kubota. It is new in the 2015 FasTrack. It's a "Premium bolstered internal suspension seats with Dymetrol Internal Suspension".

They changed a lot from my 2008 model.
They upgraded the transmissions also, mine had the hydrogear 2800's. Newer models have the 3100.
