I have seen a C-130 flying Below me as I drove down a steep grade on an interstate highway. One wing tip was about twenty feet from the tree tops as he made a tight turn like a fighter jet should be able to do but a cargo plane should not attempt. A great plane and the guys that fly them have great skill and big brass cahonies !

The video keep crashing. Finally got it to work & you are correct.

New Question!!
I though that mostly Ford & Mercury were the ones that made "Woodies". But doing a little research almost every major US car maker made 1 or more. At 1 time we had a Buick Woodie. Even Nash made a Woodie, Maybe in more ways than 1.

Who were the one or ones that didn't make a Woodie???

I'll take a WAG and say "Kaiser/Frazier".

Concerning the "more ways the 1", you had early vehicles with wood over wooden frames, then a combination steel frame / real wood approach and lastly - the "country squire wagon" method of faux wood grain vinyl. Many manufacturers had models using at least two of these methods.

Remember this old joke?

Two rednecks just bought a new country squire wagon and when asked by their neighbour how they liked it said "Just fine, but it looked better when it was in the crate."

Hadn't heard that one...It's a keeper. Some of my redneck friends will be getting this soon!

Should we let this thread die???/

Henry Ford made a car out of ????? when there was a steel shortage.
It was so tough that even a sledge hammer would not dent it.

Well I know the answer, but I "cheated"

I had read about it before, but I had forgotten it.

In the movie "Up in Smoke", the protagonists drove a van the body of which was constructed of what substance?
